I met up with Brad on Friday 28th September to run through his plans and walk around the London Eye to find a nice quiet spot for the occasion. He had his first date with Pippa on the London Eye 6 years ago and Brad hired me to photograph his proposal! Not only that but he had taken singing and music lessons to play her favourite song on the ukulele and sing it! Brad confessed to not having a musical bone in his body but I have to say it sounded great from where I was sat AND Pippa was singing along oblivious to what was going on (or to the fact I was photographing!), she even asked him if he’d been drinking…. well I did insist on him having a beer for dutch courage whilst we awaited her arrival!

It was a first for me and such a special time. I felt totally privileged to be a part of it, such a happy day for them both. After Pippa said YES I wandered over with Brad’s cool bag full of champagne in my hand and congratulated them. The three of us took a stroll towards the London Eye to savour the last of the sunset and for them to call this friends and family with the news!
