It was my first time photographing at The Manor Barn last year. Winterbourne Stoke is pretty much a local venue for me and absolutely stunning, I’d love to go back!

The day began in Gillingham with Kirsty getting ready with her bridesmaids and parents. It was super calm and relaxed whilst Kirsty was being prepped and preened by the wonderful Tara… the make up was on point!

Kirsty and David were getting married at a church in Shaftesbury followed by their wonderful reception at the Manor Barn in Winterbourne Stoke. There were welcome drinks, lawn games and laughter with delicious food. The weather was perfect and I took Kirsty and David off for portraits in gardens, amongst the apple trees and by the water, it was beautiful.

Speeches were ace, particularly the video one of the best men has made of Kirsty & David’s “story” which was a total surprise to them both despite being filmed in their home and with their dog… Kirsty and David played by the best men, so funny! Whilst the room was being prepped for a dancefloor and evening shenanigans, everyone piled onto the lawn for bouquet throwing and a game of Mr & Mrs, this time with Ken & Barbie rather than shoes which is what the game is usually played with. The day rounded off nicely with a heaving dancefloor, which included shots, shape throwing and inflatable instruments!

“Thank you so much, we have both just watched it more than once! The quality of the photos are amazing!”
