I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much fun and laughter had at a wedding as I did at Fiona & Darren’s wedding. The sun was shining gloriously, with a stunning ceremony held outside at the Sheffield Botanical Gardens followed by a relaxed and entertaining day at Smallshaw Farm Cottages, everything about their day was perfect.

What was really special about Fiona & Darren’s day was how involved and personal it was. All the flowers (like ALL of them!) were handpicked from Fiona’s Mum’s garden, everyone was pitching in, tying them in the morning. The cakes (WARNING MASSIVE CAKEAGE!) were all baked by Fiona’s family and close friends as well as Fiona herself (the macaroons were particularly yummy) above all it was totally relaxed. It was so hot, after all the formalities guests were changing, donning their shorts and t-shirts and there may have been a couple of half pint pirates 😉

A relaxed, no seating plan meal of tapas was followed by sack races, trampolining, egg & spoon races and much more. I will leave the pictures to tell the rest of the story….
