I first met Sammy way back when I was a relatively new photographer (we’re talking a decade ago!), when Gem and I did a styled shoot and Sammy (Gem’s friend) was roped in to model for us!! So when she contacted me on instagram to say she was getting married I was most excited because I knew it would be a colourful and joyous day…. I was right of course!

In a little glamping field in Northamptonshire, they decorated the area in bold beautiful colours for their outdoor ceremony, a festival theme with nods to their travels to India, including an incredible Sitar player. A cool and creative pair everything was a feast for the eyes, most of all, Sammy’s dress because the clever so and so only bloody made it herself didn’t she!! Add to that their talented pool of friends (and their children no less!) were the backing track to the blessing conducted by Andy, Sammy’s stepfather.

I laughed, smiled and chatted whilst capturing a flipping wonderful celebration of these two awesome humans and it was an utter delight. Rounded off nicely; giggling to the gravel shuffle sounds during the silent disco, most entertaining.

Preview time…..
