I’ve known Laura for as long as I have been born, our Mum’s are close friends. However, over the years we have lost touch and I think the last time I saw her was even brief and probably around 6 years ago! So when Jo (her Mum!) suggested I photograph Laura’s wedding I was super pleased and very excited for Laura. Laura was planning the wedding in just 16 weeks and I must say, she did a very good job… hats off to you Laura!
I met Steve for the first time at their pre-wedding shoot at Lyveden New Bield in February, you can see the images HERE. They looked amazing together and totally smitten, I couldn’t wait to photograph the wedding!
I arrived at the very beautiful Wadenhoe House to a relaxed bride having breakfast and lots of smiles… this was how the morning continued.
As she slipped into her wedding dress, Laura looked breathtakingly stunning. I was thinking “Steve is going to fall to pieces when he sees her” little did I know then that it would be Laura in bits in the ceremony, her laughs and movie star tears had the guests and registrars in giggles and smiles. The registrars marked it as a momentous ceremony for them. As you can see their personalities and humour shone throughout the day and it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of it.
Although the weatherman convinced me of showers all day, we were graced with glorious sunshine… I think it must have been all the smiles and laughter bringing it out 😉
